Youth and Young Adult Career Navigator Skill up (Western Mass)
Community Action Pioneer Valley Youth and Workforce Development Programs is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist for our Career Navigator program 37.5 hrs. /wk. Join our team to make a difference in the lives of youth aged 14-22 who are court involved. Working one on one with youth throughout their engagement in treatment and in the community, our focus is to assist them in preparing for success in education and employment, by providing case management, job readiness, and employment opportunities. Our programs follow a trauma informed care and positive youth development model with a strong focus on social change and healing/restorative justice. Our participants are people who live within systems of oppression. Candidate must be reliable, and able to maintain appropriate, engaging relationships with youth facing barriers to employment.
Candidates must pass a CORI, have a reliable vehicle, and a safe driving record. Strong team, positive work environment, excellent training. $21.19-$22.48 depending on qualifications.
