Get Involved: Volunteer!

The first step towards becoming a Dakin volunteer is attending a Welcome Session. You'll learn the basics about Dakin Humane Society, our services, and how you can get involved.

A few more things you need to know:

• We want to know you're coming, so you need to register in advance to attend the Welcome Session. Click here to register.
• Arrive at least 5 minutes early to do paperwork. The session starts promptly at 6:00 pm and latecomers may not be able to access the building.
• We know people of all ages love animals, but Dakin volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
