Meet Gareth Hinds, author and illustrator of critically-acclaimed graphic novels based on classic literature and mythology, including The Odyssey, Romeo and Juliet, and Macbeth. Hinds will talk about his career and process, give a drawing demonstration, and discuss his illustrations for Pamela S. Turner?s new book, Samurai Rising: The Epic Life of Minamoto Yoshitsune, about one of the greatest samurai in Japanese history. Book signing to follow program. Can?t make it to the event?
