The past comes to life in Amherst during the Amherst Historical Society & Museum's Annual House Tour. The House Tour is a self-guided tour that opens the doors to a select group of remarkable Amherst properties that showcase the town's wealth of history and architecture. The souvenir brochure is the admission ticket that opens the door to each of the featured properties. The brochure contains a map, addresses and stories about each property. Ticket holders can begin the tour at their leisure and visit each property in the order they choose between the hours of 10:00 am and 4:00 pm. The brochure is your tour guide to this historical journey.
