The WGBY Asparagus Festival returns to the Hadley Town Common on Saturday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to once again celebrate the region’s legacy of agriculture and community. The WGBY Beers & Spears Craft Beer tent will feature craft brews from local favorites, including Abandoned Building Brewery, Berkshire Brewing Company, Building 8, Lefty’s Brewing Company, New City Brewery, and The People’s Pint. In addition, you’ll get to taste specialty libations from Artifact Cider Project, Artisan Beverage Cooperative, Black Birch Vineyards, Harmony Springs Beverages Inc., Headwater Cider, and Stoneybrook Cider. A $20 Craft Beer Tasting ticket provides up to 25 tasting pours and grants access to a special seating area near the Rooted in the Valley stage, where Signature Sounds bands will perform throughout the day. Proceeds benefit WGBY and public television in western New England. Beer tasting will take place from 2–6 p.m. Tickets are available at wgby.org/beer.
