Presented by: Emily Must, Faculty, Director of Internships Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management, Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst

Workshop#2:
Building TRUST in the Workplace
Presented by: Jessi Kirley, Founder of Jkirley Collective
During this one hour interactive workshop, we will consider different scenarios of trust in the workplace, identifying key conditions that foster it and the leadership competencies needed to create a culture of trust and accountability. We will begin at the self level and expand to leadership in the workplace. Participants will leave with a complimentary Everything DiSC® Workplace Assessment code (valued at $85!), which is a science-backed tool for developing social and emotional competencies for all levels of an organization.
MEET OUR PRESENTERS
JESSI KIRLEY
Jessi Kirley is a servant leader and a strategic thought partner who helps leaders and organizations discover what's possible. She founded JKirley Collective from her passion to create workplaces of dignity and high performance. She is an Everything DiSC® Authorized Partner, a trained Emotional Intelligence Coach, and a Business Advisor for the Goldman Sachs 10k Small Businesses Program. Jessi is native to Western Mass, raises her 3 teenagers there, as well as volunteers for the Northampton Vibrance Project. Read more about Jessi here.
JILL MEDINA ELIZALDE
Jill is the Founder and CEO of STEADFAST Life Consulting (2020 - present)
As a STEADFAST Life Consultant she works with motivated individuals who want to transform their lives. She is trained as a Co-Active Coach from the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), where the fundamental component of their curriculum is transformational leadership training.
As a Community Leader and Organizer, Jill established the first team on the ground in Alabama for Mothers Out Front Mobilizing For A Liveable Climate. Org., where she generated an awareness campaign for affordable solar aimed at legalizing options for solar leasing programs. She actively organized events and rallies for political candidates. Also, while in Auburn, Alabama, she established a group for moms called, “Meditating Mamas”. Every Sunday of the month, leading meditation and contemplations for mamas (and sometimes papas) who wanted more time and space to get grounded and get in some “me time.”
As an Artist and Film Producer, (BFA in Theater from Emerson College) (1993- 2010) she studied theater extensively and then traveled the world to study the world, theater, and film first-hand. In 2010, as an Independent Film Producer, Jill co-produced with Aaron Eckart as Executive Producer, an Award-Winning Film at the Boston Film Festival. She worked in the film industry in Los Angeles in various capacities for 10 years. Ultimately, learning what motivates people, and how to manifest dreams into reality.
As a Friend and Family Member, she is grateful for the love of family, friends, teachers, experiences and endeavors that have contributed significantly to her inner library of steady wisdom. She is big fan of the wonderful inhabitants of this world, and with a passion, she is a fierce advocate in honoring the highest and deepest purpose of all individuals.
