Autor/illustrator Grace Lin to speak at Amherst Woman's Club

The Amherst Woman’s Club (AWC) will host acclaimed author and illustrator Grace Lin on October 23rd, 2025, at the AWC, 35 Triangle Street, Amherst, MA. The event is free and open to the public. A wine and cheese reception takes place from 6pm to 6:30pm, and the talk follows at 6:30pm. This is part of the club’s Thursday Evening Speakers Series, which features remarkable and accomplished local women and their personal journeys of challenges and achievements. Grace Lin is an internationally recognized author and illustrator of children’s books. Her books are heralded for their themes of cultural pride, gardening, and appreciating differences. Ms. Lin’s book The Gate, the Girl and the Dragon is her most recent middle grade novel, and her artwork is currently on exhibit at the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art.
