Are you interested in addressing climate change? Do you want to see sustainability initiatives in action? Then we welcome you to join us for our annual tour of UMass' green buildings! A leader in sustainability, UMass Amherst is home to a number of green buildings, including those certified in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). On Thursday, September 29 at 4 p.m., Ludmilla Pavlova, Senior Campus Planner, will offer a tour exploring these high performing structures. The tour will go inside of the Student Union, Worcester Commons, Isenberg School of Management, and Crotty Hall (a Zero Net Energy Building). We will also discuss the Lincoln Campus Center, Physical Sciences Building, Life Science Laboratories, Integrative Learning Center, and John Olver Design Building along the way. We'll kick things off by meeting in the lobby of the Student Union, but you are welcome to join us at any point.
