2026 Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: Herrell's Ice Cream

Herrell's Ice Cream, one of the Valley's most beloved ice cream makers, will celebrate the grand opening of its permanent Mill District location with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, July 31, hosted by the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with BankESB and The Mill District.

The celebration begins at 2:00 p.m., with welcoming remarks and the official ribbon cutting at 2:15 p.m. Community members are invited to attend, meet the Herrell's team, and celebrate the opening of the shop's new permanent home. Guests will also enjoy 15% off any purchases at the Amherst location throughout the grand opening weekend.
