DESCRIPTION:The Music Department welcomes special guest Fred Cohen\, oboist and faculty member at the UMass Amherst School of Music. Mr. Cohen will be performing two classics of the oboe quartet literature: Benjamin Britten's Phantasy for Oboe\, Violin\, Viola and Cello as well as Mozart's exuberant quartet k. 370 for the same instrumentation. Mr. Cohen will be joined by violinist Joel Pitchon\, violist Ron Gorevic and cellist Volcy Pelletier.
