DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the exhibition\, A Renaissance Man: The Art of Fred Marcellino\, this workshop will take an in-depth look at book cover and jacket design. We will explore a variety of picture books and consider how their covers inform the reading experience. Participants will take away many ideas and projects to help students learn about and discover the art of book covers. Workshop will include guided time in the galleries. Registration is required. Workshop includes Museum Admission and a 10% discount (Members 25%) in The Carle Bookshop on the day of the program.
