Our Employer Engagement team is hard at work behind the scenes in preparation for a June launch. Want to be notified once registration goes live? Fill out this notification request form!\n\n \n\n \n\nOn-Campus and Virtual Events\n\nInterested in visiting campus either in-person or virtually to host an information session\, topical workshop\, or on-campus info table? Here are key dates to keep in mind for Fall 2025:\n\n \n\nTues.\, Sept. 2 Classes Begin\n\nMon.\, Sept. 8 On-campus events may begin\n\nWeds.\, Sept. 10 On-campus interviews & office hours may begin\n\nSat.\, Oct. 11 - Tues.\, Oct. 14 Mid-Semester Break\n\nSat.\, Nov. 22 - Sun.\, Nov. 30 Thanksgiving Break\n\nWeds.\, Dec. 10 Last Day of Classes\n\n \n\nWhen planning events\, we invite recruiters to:\n\n\n \n E-mail Sarah (sknowles@amherst.edu) your preferred timing window\, so she can help strategize effective dates and times to reach your targeted audience and avoid event conflicts.\n \n \n Consider shorter webinar lengths -- 30 or 45 minutes\, for instance\, instead of an hour -- as a way to address Zoom fatigue's detrimental effect on attendance.\n \n \n Propose collaborative multi-school events that include our local consortia partners\, Mount Holyoke and Smith Colleges\; peer NESCAC institutions\; and/or other member schools in the Liberal Arts Career Network (LACN).\n \n \n Visit Handshake's Help Center for lots of helpful event set-up guides.\n \n\n\n \n\nOffice Hours & Interviews (In-person or Virtual)\n\nPlanning to devote a set window of time to Amherst candidate interviews? Interested in hosting informational office hours (sometimes referred to as "coffee chats") with potential applicants? We'd be glad to assist with resume bundling\, student scheduling\, and other logistics.\n\n \n\n\n \n For hiring interviews (either on campus or virtual)\, follow these instructions to set up an Amherst interview schedule and attach your Handshake posting(s) to it.
